'Nasi Lemak'

After a long absence from blogging, just when I thought I would blog other than food...I was wrong. I cooked 'Nasi Lemak' (Coconut Rice) yesterday and couldn't resist posting it. I craved for it about 3 days...sheesh...I have got to stop saying that.....noooooooo....I am not expecting!! Seen here with quail eggs smothered with hot spicy 'sambal' (sauce) with sliced onions, fried anchovies, sliced cucumbers...the other egg there was what I cooked before I decided on the quail eggs.

Rice microwaveable with coconut milk.
Chilli..grounded onions, dried red chillies, garlic, powdered shrimp...all fry till sauce looks darker not burnt. My grounded stuff are all salted ready in fridge so I don't have to add anymore salt later when I cook. Then add sliced onions if you want, eggs etc. Oh yes, I added some tomato ketchup too according to taste too.
