So it has been food I talk about and nothing else...can't help it...far away from home, away from all the good food. I cooked 'mee rebus'. It's the 2nd time I cooked this that I can remember since I moved here in 1999. A little oily this time...hopefully the next time round, I'll cook the perfect 'mee rebus'.

you have to share the recipe! I love mee rebus ... so far I've only been able to recreate it from the prima taste mix :P
I used the powder mix that I bought from Tampines on my last trip home. It was the 1st time I bought that sort of stuff, so was afraid to buy more. When I tried it back here in US, I regretted not buying more, it was pretty good but being me, have to add more stuff to it, so I added grounded onions and chillies amongst others. Turned out pretty good. Powder mix running low, then I have to cook it from scratch. My 1st nephew thought it looks more like Satay noodles instead.
